The ongoing honeybee problems make books obsolete. And even if not obsolete, most books attempt to cover multiple climate zones and don't do it effectively.

The Internet is loaded with articles and videos. It certainly is true that anyone with a camera is an instant expert. But much of what's up there is poor advice, sometimes illegal, often dangerous and mostly just not appropriate. Remember, there's no peer review on the Internet. If you have a camera, you're an expert... not.

Graduates of our beekeeping school are part of a user group for continuing education and discussion. This group is now a decade old, and you can participate forever.

Other classes exist, some doing a poor job with our previous outlines. Only our class has text books, and is overseen by some of the best experts.
